Joe Orton
Entry to the 2020 Joe Orton public sculpture competition, postponed due to Covid19. Orton portrait of both head and long torso (there are adequate photographs) using the herm genre, an apotropaic public marker inspired by his use of Ancient Greek tragedy. Genitals replaced with taps in honour of his Kitchen Sink Realism. Maquette modelled in plastiline.
